Dear Parents/ Carers,

I do hope all our pupils looked after their mothers yesterday and they celebrated Mother’s Day well with their families.

Year 11

We have really started to see some real momentum develop from the Year 11 cohort in the last two weeks. The pupils are awaiting some of their mock results and will use the feedback they will be given to really focus in on how they can improve for the summer exams. More and more of the cohort are now staying behind after School and taking advantage of the opportunities provided for them by their class teachers. Thank you to the parents who have been cajoling and encouraging their children to make the most of the time left before exams start, which is in approximately eight School weeks’ time. Our Saturday morning sessions for pupils to come into school and undertake personal revision continue to be very popular and we intend to continue this offer through to mid-May. If your child would like to take up this opportunity they need to sign up during lunchtimes in the week (at the Sixth Form) so we can plan staffing accordingly.
