Dear Parents/ Carers,

Last Friday was a very memorable day in school as we officially said ‘goodbye’ to the Year 11 cohort. This is the first time we have kept the pupils through the exam season and it has worked really well, with the pupils responding wonderfully to the extra sessions we have put on for them. The school has benefitted considerably knowing the pupils are getting extra revision too ‐ we certainly hope it will be win‐win when we get the results in August. The’ Leavers Assembly’ was emotional, with great memories recollected, a few tears, lots of laughs and a fitting send off to a fantastic year group, who leave with our very best wishes and thanks for the efforts they have made over the last five years. We look forward to the Prom in early July to celebrate the final school ‘rite of passage’ with the year group.

We still have a number of exams to complete this week and pupils know when extra sessions are planned and when they need to be in school this week. Good luck in the remaining exams to Year 11 and Year 13.
