Headteacher Message

Mr. McConaghie

Two significant events (alongside the arrival of snow and ice) took place this week which were well supported by our school community.

Our annual careers fair was a hive of activity with hundreds of families joining us in our sixth form to talk to employers alongside further and higher education providers. It’s really important that young people take control of their own destiny and begin to formulate their destination and next steps post Ashton on Mersey.

Year 11 Progress Evening was attended by 82% of parents and carers. The pupils need the support of home and school if they are to make the most of the upcoming Trust mocks which start on Monday 29th January.

Thanks to all those parents, carers and pupils that attended either or both events.
