Welcome to Year 9 and Year 7 evenings were very well attended this week and we conclude our cycle of these community events with Year 12 and 8 next week. Thank you for your commitment and support. The home -school partnership remains central to the success of every young person. You will have received a letter from myself this week about spectating on site. As I outlined, whilst we do want our pupils to be supported at events such as sports fixtures, we have a responsibility to ensure our systems and process for checking all visitors (including beyond the school day) are robust. An increase in support at school events has meant we are having to refine our processes. We would ask that members of our community don’t turn up to school to watch school fixtures for a period. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
