Headteacher Message

Mr. McConaghie

It is always reassuring to see our main hall at capacity with members of our school community joining events that take place each and every week, here at Ashton on Mersey School. It is reassuring as we know that parents and carers care deeply about how their children develop and progress. Ultimately, our wider events schedule is aimed at supporting young people to be the best they can possibly be. Our partnership is essential. This week saw an apprenticeship evening aimed at our sixth form students and a ‘Welcome to Year 10’ evening. Next week we have provided a student finance event (again for our sixth form students) alongside our annual Open Evening which takes place on Thursday from 5pm until 8pm. School closes at 2:20pm on Thursday to allow staff and pupils to prepare for what is a real showcase for all our school community offers. Please come along and join us for any and all events that may be relevant to you and your child. It would be great to meet you.
